THE STORY OF PARTNERS BEST GAMES

Partner Best Games only became a reality in 2022 after realizing that it was possible to design and market games with the power of the internet. After Luke enlisted the help of his best buddy Kyle for some graphic design skills, progress was made and in 2023 we launched our first games.

The backstory is fairly interesting. Luke grew up playing cards with his family: Pinochle, Gripe Rummy. Kyle grew up playing Hero Quest, Age of Empires, and Solitaire. But it was Euchre that brought them together. Later, Canasta was added to the mix, Speculation, Poker and some board games like Risk.  After college, on a fateful Christmas Eve Luke was having a restless night of sleep and somehow developed a concept for a board game that revolved around his Grandmother always taking phone calls during holiday meals. After developing a rough prototype that concept was licensed by Buffalo Games. Unfortunately it wasn't a huge success, but it still makes an appearance at family events. The snowball started rolling downhill though and additional ideas came to Luke's mind. Additionally, as he was working with youth and families as a mental health practitioner, he found creative ways to incorporate games as therapeutic learning tools! Kyle and Luke have enjoyed many game nights playing Catan or play testing prototypes with their families. We look forward to sharing more products and ideas in the future.
